Hi, I’m Susan Tiihonen—an interdisciplinary artist and designer with a focus on equity and social justice.
Since 2010, I’ve been creating art and media that supports social change, collaborating with anti-violence coalitions, shelters, universities, educators, hospitals, grassroots collectives, and individuals who have something meaningful to share.

The media arts play a huge role in how we see ourselves and the world around us. They have a way of moving us past facts and stats, to a place of intrinsic understanding. They are an accessible and energizing way to share information and this is why I love my work so much.
